Alaska is one of my favorite places in the world, and I've cruised it several times. Humpback whales beside the ship, Gold Rush towns and towering glaciers make every trip memorable. I'd love to help you find the Alaska cruise or cruisetour that fits the way you like to travel.
Not sure which is right for you? That's exactly what I help with.
Many Alaska cruises are about a week long, though shorter and longer sailings are available. Depending on the cruise line and itinerary, they may sail roundtrip from ports such as Seattle or Vancouver, or one-way to or from Alaska.
Expect ports like Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, plus scenic glacier cruising. Easy, great value, and a wonderful first Alaska trip.
A cruise combined with several days on land, so trips are usually longer than a cruise alone. Routes vary by cruise line and season. Many include Denali National Park, and some add the Alaska Railroad or wilderness lodges.
The land portion may come before or after the sailing. Ideal if you want to see Alaska's interior and more wildlife.

Answers to the questions I hear most often.
Do I need a passport? Requirements depend on your citizenship, itinerary and departure port. A passport is strongly recommended because many Alaska cruises stop in Canada, and I'll help you check the official requirements for your trip.
When is the best time to go? The season generally runs late spring to early fall. Summer is popular for whale watching and wildlife, and I'll help you weigh weather, crowds and price.
Do I need a balcony? Not necessarily. Public decks have great views, so an interior or oceanview cabin can work well.
Does it rain a lot? Rain is common in Southeast Alaska, usually light, so a waterproof layer helps.
Will I get seasick? Inside Passage waters are generally calm, but some Alaska itineraries include open-ocean sailing, where conditions may be rougher. Pack a remedy just in case.
How far ahead should I book? Booking early gives the best choice of cabins and itineraries, and I can review eligible price adjustments before final payment, subject to cruise line policies.
